Your beautiful words all take a toll, your promises lifts spirits, your presence holds meaning. Promises aren’t meant to be kept on conditions, they are meant to be kept despite the conditions, despite all hardships. Don’t make promises that you can’t keep during the toughest of times. Beautiful words and phrases aren’t meaningful if not backed up with beautiful actions. You say them because you mean them, not because that person make you feel less alone.
